The Mission of
Dream Job Academy:
We help students and
young professionals get their dream jobs, and we help them achieve greater
success and satisfaction in their careers.
About Our Founder, Pete Leibman:
Pete Leibman is the
Author of “I Got My Dream Job And So Can You: 7 Steps To Creating Your
Ideal Career After College” (due out in March 2012 through The American
Management Association).
Like most young
job-seekers, Pete initially struggled to make the transition from college
to career. However, he persevered
and ultimately beat out hundreds of more experienced candidates to land his
first dream job (to work for a pro sports franchise) after graduating from
college in 2003.
Less than 2 years later, he created The Washington Wizards’ Sports Careers Day and was promoted
into management for the NBA’s Washington Wizards (at the age of 23). He
then managed and trained entry-level staff, while being ranked as the
franchise’s #1 Salesperson of the
Year for 3 straight seasons.
Today, Pete is a very popular keynote speaker who
inspires thousands of young professionals each year. He has spoken to audiences as large as
4,000+, and he has been invited to share his career advice at some of the
world's best colleges, including Stanford University and Johns Hopkins
University.
